Dota 2 PARI Universe 2026 Predictions

PARI Universe 2026 starts on October 22 as 10 Dota 2 teams chase a $250,000 prize pool over 11 days. It’s a fully online event, with the champion getting crowned on Sunday November 1.

The betting market has three clear contenders. Team Yandex lead at 9/5 (2.80), having won PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST Slam VIII back to back. PARIVISION are 21/10 (3.10) and TI 2026 winners Team Spirit are 3/1 (4.00). Then it drops off sharply, with 1w Team next at 8/1 (9.00).

All prices are from before the group stage. Yandex, PARIVISION and Spirit are all under 7/2 (4.50), no other team is shorter than 8/1 (9.00), and GamerLegion are out on their own at 59/1 (60.00).

There’s no point backing Yandex at about 1/14 (1.07) or Spirit at about 1/25 (1.04).

My interest is the 16:00 series. 1w Team are shorter than Liquid in the outright market, but I’d call this close to even. If Liquid are the underdogs, they’re my bet.

Here’s a quick overview of my three main PARI Universe 2026 betting picks at online betting websites.

Two events this season, two titles, and wins over both PARIVISION and Spirit at BLAST Slam VIII. Yandex drew the easier group as well. There’s not much value left at 9/5 (2.80), but they’re the most reliable side in this field.

Spirit have beaten Yandex once already this season, in the BLAST Slam VIII seeding round. They’ve had the better of PARIVISION twice too, in the TI final and the BLAST Slam VIII lower-bracket final.

PARIVISION are still shorter. I’ll take 3/1 (4.00) on the TI champions.

BetBoom reached the EWC final and they’re 13/1 (14.00). 1w Team didn’t get past the BLAST Slam VIII lower bracket and they’re 8/1 (9.00). Pure’s comeback helps, but the gap in price doesn’t match the gap in results.

Team Yandex picked up offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf when Team Falcons left Dota 2. With him in the lineup, they’re two events from two.

That run started at PGL Wallachia Season 9, which was missing several top esports teams. BLAST Slam VIII was the real test. Yandex beat PARIVISION 2-1, swept Spirit 2-0 to reach the final, then beat Spirit again 3-1. Alimzhan “watson” Islambekov ran the deciding game.

Add DreamLeague Season 27, PGL Wallachia Season 7 and BLAST Slam VII, and that’s five titles since December.

There are a couple of blemishes. Spirit won their BLAST Slam VIII seeding match 2-1, and Yandex only managed third at TI.

Clement “Puppey” Ivanov joined PARIVISION as coach in December. DreamLeague Season 29 came in May, then the Esports World Cup, where they dropped three maps all event and beat BetBoom Team 3-1 in the final.

TI was the one that got away. At BLAST Slam VIII, they lost two tight 2-1 series, to Yandex and Spirit, and finished third.

Group B doesn’t help. PARIVISION share it with Spirit, BetBoom and Astra Invicta, and the Spirit series is on October 26.

Team Spirit won TI from the lower bracket, which made it three Aegis titles for the organization.

BLAST Slam VIII started well for them, with first place in their group and a seeding win over Yandex. Then Yandex beat them twice, the second time in the final.

The Universe series is a sore point. Spirit have lost all three finals they’ve reached in it – twice to Team Falcons, in 2024 and 2025, and 3-2 to Aurora Gaming this year.

1w Team are fourth favorites at 8/1 (9.00). Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko is back with them this season, but PARIVISION knocked them out 2-1 in the BLAST Slam VIII lower bracket.

BetBoom Team were runners-up at the Esports World Cup, yet they’re 13/1 (14.00) here. Blame the draw. PARIVISION and Spirit are both in Group B.

Team Liquid won the fifth edition of this series, then called FISSURE Universe, in July 2025, beating PARIVISION in the final. Their mid-lane spot is still listed as TBD, which makes 10/1 (11.00) hard to trust.

OG have a new lineup and the easier group, and they’re 12/1 (13.00). LEGION came through the closed qualifier with a 3-1 win over Blasterbl, while GamerLegion are the long shots at 59/1 (60.00).

Eight teams make the playoffs, so one dropped series in the groups won’t sink a favorite. Form over the last two months counts for more than a single bad day.

• Yandex’s run – they’ve won both big events of the 2026-27 season so far, and five esports tournaments since December
• No repeat winners – seven different teams have won the eight previous Universe events, and nobody has won two in a row
• Spirit’s Universe finals – they’ve played three and lost all three

The playoffs are double elimination, with best-of-threes all the way through, then a best-of-five to decide the title.

FISSURE are running the event, with every series on European servers.

Teams meet each group rival once. Four from each group reach the playoffs, so just two of the 10 teams go home after the groups.

Group position is still important though, as it decides the bracket.

Shanghai hosted TI 2026, and Spirit lifted the Aegis on August 23 after a 3-2 final against PARIVISION. No organization had won three TIs before.

PARIVISION, entered as TEAM VISION, had the smoother route. They went unbeaten through the group stage, then got past Team Yandex 2-1 to reach the final first. Yandex had another shot in the lower-bracket final, and Spirit sent them out.

For PARIVISION, the defeat capped a year that also brought DreamLeague Season 29 in May and the Esports World Cup in July.

Yandex have owned the new season. A 3-0 sweep of Natus Vincere won them PGL Wallachia Season 9 in late September, and a 3-1 win over Spirit on October 11 took the BLAST Slam VIII title.

Here’s a quick look at my three main betting angles for PARI Universe 2026.

Yandex is the bet I’d get involved with the heaviest. The Spirit bet needs more to go right, as a slip or two in Group B could cost them seeding. And if 1w Team come through Group A strongly, I’ll have read them wrong.

PARIVISION v Spirit on October 26 should move the outright market more than any other group series. Prices will look different once it’s done, so recheck them then.
