UEFA Champions League Prediction: Liverpool – PSV (26-11-2025)

Spanish clubs annihilator Liverpool finally have a less hard fixture on paper. This Wednesday they are welcoming 18th place PSV, who at this moment collected only one win.

Liverpool should be flying high after their recent performance in the Champions League. The Reds not only beat Real Madrid at home, but let them find the target only twice in the whole game establishing their dominance.

This win lets them take 8th place with the only one game left against the 1st pot team – Inter.
Liverpool shockingly lost to Galatasaray in the second game week, but previously beat another spanish giant Atletico Madrid.

In the Premier League the things are not looking great as Arne Slot men already suffered 5 defeats, 4 of them coming in the past 5 fixtures. In the most recent game they fell against direct rivals for the title Manchester City 3-0.

Interestingly enough, Liverpool did not finish a single game with a draw so far, which lets them to be in the 8th place despite the poor losing record.

PSV are lacking any consistency and threw away statistically easier games, while the single win came quite unexpectedly. To everyone’s surprise, on the opening matchday red and whites lost at home versus debutant SG Royal, but in the third round showed that they still have teeth after trashing Napoli 6-2.

This win unfortunately did not translate to the further games as PSV were unable to beat Olympiacos and the match finished 1-1.

Eredivisie is a different topic, since PSV are firmly in first place and now show the best form in the whole league with 5 straight wins.

Arne Slot’s best chance to keep his position safe remains the Champions League. If Liverpool fails to build a decent winning streak in the Premier League, European success would please the fans and the board.

With Liverpool needing better results and PSV failing to leave a good impression in the Champions League, we can expect the Reds being aggressive in this game and ready to make a statement.

So it would come as no surprise to us or the betting companies if Liverpool won by a large margin.
