UEFA Champions League Prediction: Club Brugge – Barcelona (05-11-2025)

After getting a slap in the El Clásico match against Real Madrid, Barcelona will be looking to redeem themselves in the upcoming fixtures. They travel to Belgium to face Club Brugge, who recently showed poor form and are on a two-game losing streak in the competition.

Club Brugge had a real dream start in this year’s UEFA Champions League with a 4-1 win against Monaco at home. The Belgian side played beautiful attacking football and arguably could have scored even more. However, they did not look anything like it in the second round versus Atalanta.

The Bergamo team took control of the game in the second half and beat the visitors 2-1. Even a bigger challenge waited for Brugge in the third round, where they travelled to Munich to face the mighty Bayern.

Although Bayern rested a few of their players, Brugge were not able to score for the first time in the competition and conceded 4 goals. Now the Belgian champions are in 20th place, which just barely qualifies for the playoffs.

After an almost perfect start, Barcelona recently showed that they are very beatable. Last year’s semi-finalists won 1-2 against Newcastle United in the first round but suffered a 1-2 defeat in the second against PSG — a result that surprised even the reliable betting sites, especially since the French side played without most of their stars.

Despite the fact that Barcelona redeemed themselves with a crushing 6-1 win over Olympiacos, the fans will remember the last weekend for a while.
