UEFA Champions League Prediction: Bodo/Glimt – Inter (18-02-2026)

One of the biggest Cinderella stories ever – Bodo/Glimt are on fire after a 2 games winnings streak in the competition against all odds. This Wednesday they are hosting another big name – last year’s finalists Inter.

Bodo/Glimt’s final group phase run deserves its own TV Series. After 8 rounds it looked like it was over for the Norwegian side, but in one of the biggest upsets ever they shocked Manchester City 3-1. Despite the historic win, they needed another win in order to qualify.

On the final match day Bodo completed another miracle with a 2-1 in Madrid against Atletico. This stunner cost the Atleti a top 8 finish, while the Norwegian side earned their first ever qualification for the UEFA Champions league quarter finals.

On the other hand, Inter Milano should not necessarily be happy with their latest run in the biggest European competition. Vice champions looked great until they met other teams from pot 1 and at one point had 3 games losing streak which included Atletico Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal.

However, the final matchday brought more positivity as the Nerazzurri took on Borussia Dortmund. Surprisingly, the game was not equal as expected as the German side failed to create anything and lost to the Italians 0-2.

February so far is very kind for Inter as they’ve won 3 matches in a row including a crushing 5-0 victory over Sassuolo. This decent run allowed them to run away from the opponents in the fight for the scudetto and now they are on top with 5 points advantage.

Now it is very clear that the Bodo team can not be undervalued and Inter might save up some players for this particular game after getting a decent points margin in the Serie A.

The Italians have one of the best away records in the competition winning 3 out of 4 matches and conceding a goal in only one of them.

A.Chivu’s men’s aim might be another clean sheet and finishing the job in the second leg at home. We can expect a very careful and concentrated Inter who will respect Bodo’s attack and will patiently wait for the chances, which should lead us to seeing less goals than most of the well-known bookies expect.
