UEFA Champions League Prediction: Inter Milan – Bodo/Glimt (24-02-2026)

For the 3rd match week in a row Bodo/Glimt surprised the whole world with another win over European giant. This time they have to do it twice against the same team, but the two goals advantage gives them a huge lead.

Although Bodo side beat such teams as Atletico Madrid and Manchester City in the final two rounds of the league phase, they were still quite huge underdogs coming into the first leg. However, Aspmyra Stadium did its magic and the Norwegian side created another miracle winning 3-1.

Inter looked arguably better in the first half creating more chances, but conceded in the 20th minute as Sondre Fet converted a great through ball into a goal. Only 10 minutes later Inter’s young gun Pio Esposito equalized and everything was left for the second half.

A.Chivu’s men started the final half with more intensity and controlling the ball, but lacked creating good chances in the opposition box. Bodo were patient and converted few opportunities perfectly, scoring two goals. Total 1.20 xG was enough to score three, whereas Inter underperformed by scoring one goal despite having 1.52 xG.

Due to fortunate fixtures in the Serie A, we might see A.Chivu saving the troops for this particular game. L.Martinez was subbed off early in the first leg as he is still not fully fit to play the whole 90 minutes, but the second leg should be a different story.

Since the Italian side finds themselves in this unfortunate situation, we might see Thuram, Lautauro and Pio playing some minutes at the same time on the pitch, which should result in Inter scoring more than just one goal like in the first fixture.

Sooner or later we should see Inter going all in if they won’t be able to create an early two goals advantage. With Bodo’s great patience and counter attacking we should see a similar amount of goals in the second leg as well, which sports bookmakers are likely to reflect in their betting lines.
