UEFA Champions League Prediction: Atletico Madrid – Inter Milan (26-11-2025)

Undefeated Inter will face the biggest challenge yet in their UEFA Champions League run. This Wednesday they are traveling to Madrid who are desperate to get a first second win in a row in this competition.

Atletico Madrid fans expected better things to happen for their beloved club in this season as the team has already suffered two defeats. Los Colchoneros failed 2-3 in Anfield against Liverpool which was not a disaster and later got the first win in a dominant fashion versus Eintracht 5-1.

Although the team beat Royal SG in the last round, everyone still remembers the crushing loss at the Emirates Stadium 4-0. Now Atleti has another chance to show that they are able to compete against top European clubs.

However, Diego Simeone’s men did find better form in the La Liga competition. After suffering defeat on the opening day, Atletico are undefeated since then and with only one loss are the only team to do so along with Real Madrid.

With 26 points they are in 4th place and already 4 points above the 5th place. There is still a lot to play for and we have no doubt that the Madrid side will qualify for the Champions League again.

Inter can brag about the better results in the biggest European competition at the moment. With Bayern and Arsenal, they are the only team to win all 4 games and now due to a goal difference sit in the 3rd place.

However, the winning list on paper is not that surprising. I Nerazzurri beat teams that were from 2,3 and 4 pots and this game should be the biggest challenge as of yet. Still, we should give credit to them as Inter Milan conceded only one goal in those fixtures averaging 2.75 goals per game.

Surprisingly, the season in Serie A looks more difficult for A. Chivu team. Inter already lost on 3 occasions, but have not drawn a single time. With 24 points they are currently 3rd, but the Serie A title raise is very close and Inter still remains as one of the favorites to win the Scudetto.

This season Atletico failed to score only once and it was in a match against Arsenal, but still managed to grab 10 goals in total from another 3 games.

It is hard to see Inter getting another clean sheet, since Diego Simeone’s men this season plays less safe, which makes a high probability for us and top bookmakers to see both teams scoring at least a goal.
