UFC Fight Night 269 Predictions (14-03-2026)

UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Vallejos (also known as UFC Fight Night 269 and UFC Vegas 114) is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on March 14, 2026, at the Meta Apex in Enterprise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Valley, United States.

A featherweight bout between former interim UFC Featherweight Championship challenger Josh Emmett and Kevin Vallejos is scheduled to headline the event.

A true UFC veteran Andre Fili is about to make his way to the octagon after a 6 months break in what will be his 26th fight for the promotion. He currently finds himself out of the top 15, but a win here could return him back to the rankings.

So far the American is not able to put up a decent winning streak and was 1-1 in the 2025. Last year starter very poorly as Fili lost via first round submission to M.Costa, but in August got a chance to redeem himself.

Although he was a quite heavily underdogs, Andre got a split decision win versus Christian Rodriguez in a very close bout. This indicated that the veteran is far from being over and should be respected.

On the other hand, Jose Delgado is a true newcomer as he debuted with the UFC only last year in a fight against Connor Matthews. The youngster impressed everyone with a first round right overhand finish and only 3 months later got his second fight scheduled.

In June he made a very quick work of Hyder Amil, finishing him in only 26 seconds. The matchmakers thought that Delgado should be ready for the big UFC dogs, but his last opponent Nathaniel Wood proved otherwise.

Despite Delgado’s missed weight, the Englishmen dominated for the most part of the fight and got the unanimous decision victory 29-28. This indicated that the young American still needs a lot of work to do before taking the fight against the division ranked opponents.

Although 70% of Delgado’s wins are in the first round, this time he is facing a true respected MMA veteran who has seen it all.

In 37 professional bouts Andre Fili lost in the first round only 5 times and he definitely will take the example of Nathaniel Wood who was careful in the first round and later exposed Delgado’s limited arsenal. The odds for us to see the second round are just too decent.

11 UFC featherweight Josh Emmett missed a whole year of 2024 and now we can say that it may have some consequences. The American landed one of the KO’s of the year of 2023 versus Bryce Mitchell and returned only in April, 2025 for a big fight against Lerone Murphy.

However, it did not go as planned and the English kickboxer took over the fight in the second round eventually winning the 5th rounder 48-47, 48-47, 49-46. This time it did not take him so long to return to the octagon as he has faced one of the most in form fighters of the division – Youssf Zalal.

Yet, The Moroccan devil shockingly submitted Emmett in only 1 minute and 38 seconds of the fight. All this means just how important this upcoming fight is for J.Emmett and for his further career trajectory.

Kevin Vallejos is now one of the hottest prospects in the featherweight and his latest win got him into to the rankings as he is now #14. The 23-year-old debuted in the UFC in 2025 with an impressive first round finish against Seung Woo Choi.

He did not stop being active and in August claimed his second win after beating Danny Silva via unanimous decision. Without a doubt his biggest performance was in his last bout versus Giga Chikadze.

A well respected Georgian kickboxer was known for his endurance and chin, but to everyone’s surprise he got finished in the second round after Vallejo’s landed a spinning back fist followed up with some elbows.

For 41-year old Josh Emmett this might be his last fight if he loses it. However, with this being a 5 rounder we can give a nod to Josh for having more experience in it.

Yet, given that the last fight Vallejo fought went the distance and that Emmet is an amazing power puncher, we hardly see it as a good bet with sports bookmakers that this one is going to the judges’ scorecards.
