UFC 332 Predictions: Silva vs Wang (03-10-2026)

UFC 332 takes place at Delta Center in Salt Lake City on Saturday, October 3, with Natalia Silva facing Wang Cong for the vacant UFC women’s flyweight title.

The belt became vacant after Valentina Shevchenko informed the UFC that she would be unable to compete for at least a year.

Former two-time UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo meets Payton Talbott in the co-main event.

King Green vs Esteban Ribovics, Roberto Soldic vs Khaos Williams and Ateba Gautier vs Roman Kopylov complete the main card, while Marcus McGhee vs Benardo Sopaj is one of the more interesting matchups on the prelims.

Four markets stand out from the current UFC 332 lines.

Silva is backed to win the vacant title, Figueiredo vs Talbott points towards a longer fight, Soldic’s UFC debut has strong early-finish potential and McGhee holds several important advantages against Sopaj.

Natalia Silva enters her first UFC title fight on a 14-fight winning streak and with a perfect 8-0 record inside the Octagon.

Her recent opposition is the strongest argument for backing her at 1.50.

Silva has beaten Jessica Andrade, Alexa Grasso and Rose Namajunas in three consecutive fights.

All three are former UFC champions, giving the Brazilian a level of high-end experience that Wang Cong has not yet matched.

Wang has still earned her opportunity. The Chinese contender owns a 10-1 professional record and has won four UFC fights in a row since suffering the only defeat of her career.

She last competed in July, beating Tracy Cortez by unanimous decision.

Her output is difficult to ignore.

Wang lands 6.82 significant strikes per minute while absorbing 2.73. Silva works at a lower rate of 4.81 landed per minute, but her defensive numbers are excellent: she absorbs only 2.36, defends 66% of significant strikes and has stopped 90% of takedown attempts against her.

That defense should matter against an opponent who relies heavily on activity.

Silva manages distance well, rarely remains stationary after throwing and has shown that she can win rounds without matching an opponent strike for strike.

Wang may be able to push the pace, but sustained pressure against Silva has proved difficult even for more experienced opponents.

The five-round format adds another test for Wang, who is stepping into her first UFC title fight against an opponent already proven against the top of the division.

At 1.50, Silva’s strength of schedule, movement and defensive numbers make her the strongest moneyline pick among the four UFC 332 selections.

Payton Talbott has seven knockout wins, but his recent record points away from a quick finish.

His last three fights have all reached the judges.

Raoni Barcelos handed Talbott his first professional defeat before he responded with unanimous-decision wins over Felipe Lima and former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo.

Talbott has only one first-round finish in his professional career. As the opposition has improved, he has become more patient and increasingly willing to build his advantage over 15 minutes.

The volume is still there. Talbott lands 6.62 significant strikes per minute, so Figueiredo is unlikely to be given long periods to reset.

What Figueiredo does have is experience.

The former UFC flyweight champion owns nine knockout wins and nine submissions, while his average UFC fight lasts 12:43. Five of his eight fights since moving to bantamweight have gone to the scorecards.

The over is not without risk. Song Yadong submitted Figueiredo late in the second round of his most recent fight, and Talbott has enough power to punish mistakes if the Brazilian begins to struggle with his pace.

Still, Talbott’s last three performances have all lasted the full 15 minutes, while Figueiredo has spent much of his UFC career facing championship-level opposition.

Over 2.5 Rounds only needs the fight to pass the 2:30 mark of round three.

At 1.86, that offers considerably more value than taking Talbott at around 1.16 simply to win.

Roberto Soldic makes his UFC debut with a 21-4 professional record and 19 career finishes.

His latest fight lasted just 1:55. Soldic stopped Dagi Arslanaliev in the opening round at ONE Championship, adding another early knockout to a career built around finishing power.

Khaos Williams has a similar history.

The American owns nine knockout wins and eight first-round finishes. Five of his professional victories have come in 90 seconds or less, while his most recent fight ended with a first-round stoppage of Nikolay Veretennikov at 3:31.

Williams’ defensive numbers make this matchup particularly interesting.

He absorbs 5.34 significant strikes per minute and defends only 41% of significant strikes attempted against him. Giving up that amount of clean offense is dangerous against a puncher with Soldic’s power.

The threat works both ways.

Williams carries enough power to punish Soldic if the UFC newcomer is too aggressive or gets caught during an exchange.

That makes the round total more appealing than trying to predict which fighter lands first.

There is a clear reason the price is as high as 1.83. Williams has gone the distance several times in the UFC and is capable of slowing a fight down rather than forcing every exchange.

Even so, Soldic’s finishing record, Williams’ power and the amount of offense Williams tends to absorb create a matchup with genuine danger from the opening minute.

At 1.83, the price is high enough to justify the volatility of an early-finish market.

McGhee’s 1.66 price should not make Benardo Sopaj look like an easy matchup.

The Albanian is 13-3 with seven knockout wins and four submissions. He stopped Timmy Cuamba with a second-round rear-naked choke in May after previously beating Ricky Turcios by unanimous decision.

Sopaj’s best route to victory is likely to involve wrestling and top control.

He averages 2.43 takedowns per 15 minutes, while 39% of his UFC significant strikes have been landed on the ground.

McGhee has been extremely difficult to put there.

The American has defended 90% of takedown attempts against him in the UFC. If Sopaj struggles to get the fight to the mat, much more of the matchup will have to play out in McGhee’s preferred range.

The striking numbers favour McGhee.

He lands 5.44 significant strikes per minute and absorbs 3.64. Sopaj lands 4.39 while absorbing 4.69.

There is also a difference in UFC experience.

McGhee has won five of his six fights in the promotion, including a victory over Jonathan Martinez. His only UFC loss came against former bantamweight champion Petr Yan, and he returned to the win column against John Yannis in June.

Sopaj is dangerous if he can repeatedly force grappling exchanges and establish top position, but McGhee’s takedown defense makes that difficult to rely on.

If most of the fight remains standing, McGhee has the stronger striking differential and the better body of work against established UFC opposition.

At 1.66, McGhee is the preferred side.
