Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix Predictions (19-07-2026)
Spa-Francorchamps arrives at an interesting point in the 2026 Formula 1 season.
Mercedes still lead the constructors’ championship comfortably, but Ferrari have won two of the last three Grands Prix and travel to Belgium with genuine momentum.
With nine races completed, the battle at the front is becoming more competitive, while several drivers have strong records at one of the sport’s most iconic circuits.
If you’re planning to bet on the British Grand Prix, 96.com betting site offers extensive Formula 1 coverage, including race winners, qualifying markets, podium finishes, head-to-head betting and numerous specials.

Mercedes remain the benchmark team this Formula 1 season.
They lead the constructors’ standings with 333 points, ahead of Ferrari on 255, McLaren on 179 and Red Bull on 128.
More importantly, Mercedes drivers have won seven of the first nine races of the season.
Kimi Antonelli has taken victories in China, Japan, Miami, Canada and Monaco, while George Russell won in Australia and Austria.
Ferrari have clearly closed the gap in recent weeks, with Lewis Hamilton winning in Barcelona and Charles Leclerc triumphing at Silverstone, but Mercedes still possess the strongest season record so far.
Backing the constructor rather than an individual driver also provides two realistic paths to victory.
Antonelli’s Formula 1 campaign this year has already exceeded expectations.
The Italian leads the drivers’ championship with 179 points and has won more than half of the races held so far this season.
After finishing second in Australia, Antonelli produced a remarkable run of five consecutive victories between China and Monaco.
There have been setbacks, including a retirement in Spain and a disappointing fifteenth-place finish at Silverstone, but no driver has won more races this Formula 1 season over the full campaign.
Much of this prediction comes down to Mercedes’ pace.
If the team once again brings the fastest car to Spa, Antonelli has already shown that he knows how to convert opportunities into victories.

Hamilton has become one of the safest podium candidates on the grid.
He has finished inside the top three five times in nine Formula 1 races, including second places in Canada and Monaco, victory in Spain and third place at Silverstone.
His history at Spa-Francorchamps also speaks for itself. Hamilton is one of only three current drivers to have won the Belgian Grand Prix, with victories coming in 2010, 2015, 2017, 2020 and 2024.
Ferrari may not yet have the outright pace advantage over Mercedes, but Hamilton’s recent form suggests that another podium finish is well within reach.
Leclerc offers a bigger price than Hamilton, although with greater risk attached.
His 2026 Formula 1 season has included podium finishes in Australia and Japan, while his victory at Silverstone confirmed Ferrari’s progress heading into Belgium.
Leclerc has already won at Spa and returned to the podium there in 2025.
He won there in 2019 and returned to the podium in Belgium last season.
There have been inconsistent moments, including retirements in Monaco and Spain, but Leclerc’s ceiling remains extremely high.
At odds of 1.85, his Formula 1 podium market deserves consideration.
This is the most speculative selection of the group, but it also carries the highest reward.
Verstappen sits only seventh in the championship with 76 points, while Red Bull have dropped to fourth place in the constructors’ standings.
Even so, recent performances suggest that the Dutchman cannot be ignored.
He finished third in Canada, fourth in Spain and second in Austria, proving that podium pace still exists despite Red Bull’s struggles.
Spa-Francorchamps has traditionally been one of Verstappen’s strongest venues.
He won the Belgian Grand Prix in 2021, 2022 and 2023, and although past success guarantees nothing under the current regulations, it adds weight to an already appealing price.
Red Bull’s inconsistency makes this the riskiest prediction on the list, but among the bigger odds available for Belgium, Verstappen’s podium market stands out the most.
