The main Esports World Cup Club Championship rule is that only an organization that wins at least one tournament can become champion. This means that if an organization is first in points but has not won any tournament, the first-place prize money will not be paid out. It will go to the next highest-placed organization that has won at least one tournament.

The main favorites to win the Esports World Cup Club Championship are considered to be the organizations that have teams in different games.
