EuroLeague Prediction: Valencia vs Olympiacos (13-10-2026)
Valencia and Olympiacos meet on October 13 in one of the most intriguing games of EuroLeague Round 5, with both teams entering the matchup among the competition’s highest-scoring sides.
Valencia have opened the season with a perfect 4-0 record, scoring 405 points across those games, while Olympiacos sit at 3-1 after producing 382.
With both offences already operating at a high level, the total points market stands out more than the match winner.

Valencia have set the tone offensively from the opening round. They are averaging 101.3 points per game in the EuroLeague, while their matches have produced an average of 190.3 combined points.
Three of their four European games have cleared this line. Valencia beat Baskonia 111-88 and ASVEL 105-92, while another game finished 96-94.
Even their 93-82 victory over Hapoel Tel Aviv, the only one to stay under 178.5, still reached 175 points.
That production has not disappeared outside the EuroLeague either.
Valencia scored 97 against Zaragoza in their latest domestic appearance and have already shown that they are comfortable pushing the pace regardless of the opponent.
Olympiacos bring a slightly more controlled profile, but their numbers still support a high total.
They are averaging 95.5 points scored and 85.5 conceded through four EuroLeague rounds, resulting in an average combined score of exactly 181.0 points.
Three of their four EuroLeague games have also gone beyond 178.5, including totals of 184 against Zalgiris, 190 against Virtus Bologna and 195 in their other early-season matchup.

The clear exception was the 89-66 win over Anadolu Efes, where Olympiacos were able to dictate a much slower game.
That is the main risk with this selection. Olympiacos are capable of defending at a high level and do not need to turn every game into a shootout.
Valencia, however, are a much more aggressive offensive team than the version of Efes they faced last round, and the Spanish side have repeatedly pushed games toward the 90s and beyond.
Across the two teams’ eight combined EuroLeague appearances this season, six have finished above 178.5 points.
More importantly, both sides possess enough scoring depth that the over does not depend on one team producing an exceptional night.
Valencia’s pace and 101.3-point average should force Olympiacos into a more open contest than they faced against Efes, while the Greek side have enough offensive quality to punish Valencia’s willingness to trade possessions.
