NBA Conference Semi-Finals Predictions (16-05-2026)
The NBA Playoffs continue with two potentially decisive Game 6 matchups as both Cleveland and San Antonio return home holding 3-2 series leads.
Both series have followed a very strong home-court trend so far, and that trend could once again become one of the biggest factors heading into these games.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Detroit Pistons
This NBA playoff series has followed a very clear pattern from the beginning – both teams have generally looked far more comfortable playing at home.
Cleveland already protected home court twice earlier in the series before finally stealing an important road win in Detroit during the latest matchup.
That overtime victory completely shifted the pressure back onto the Pistons heading into Game 6.
Now the series returns to Cleveland, where the Cavaliers not only hold the series lead, but also have the opportunity to close everything out in front of their own fans.
Detroit clearly showed they can compete physically in this matchup, especially at home, but offensively the team still looks far less stable away from Detroit overall.
The Cavaliers also seem to play with much better offensive rhythm at home compared to road games, which has been visible throughout most of this playoff run.
Considering the overall home-road split throughout this series and Cleveland’s momentum after the overtime win, the Cavaliers still look like the stronger side heading into Game 6.

Minnesota Timberwolves vs San Antonio Spurs
This NBA series has actually been less competitive overall than the 3-2 scoreline might initially suggest.
Minnesota managed to win two games in the series, but outside of those victories several matchups heavily favoured San Antonio, including two games that ended in very one-sided fashion.
San Antonio Spurs already showed several times in this series that when they control the tempo early, Minnesota often struggle to respond offensively for longer stretches.
San Antonio also enter Game 6 with momentum after a dominant home victory where they completely controlled the game from start to finish.
Minnesota can still make this competitive if one of their scorers has a huge game offensively, but overall San Antonio simply look like the more stable team throughout this series.
Based on how several of these games have already played out, the Spurs still look like the more likely side to finish the series in Game 6.
