Óscar Gómez Sánchez (Peru)

Scored 11 goals while playing for Alianza Lima. He participated in the CONMEBOL Copa América from 1953 to 1959, with his best performance being six goals in the 1955 edition.

Herminio Masantonio (Argentina)

Also scored 11 goals. He represented Huracán in the 1935 and 1942 editions of the tournament. Despite his scoring prowess, Argentina didn’t win the title in either of those years.

Ángel Romano (Uruguay)
