EuroBasket 2025 Prediction: Finland – Georgia (10-09-2025)

The EuroBasket 2025 Top 16 began with two surprises. First, Finland defeated Serbia, considered the tournament favorites, and then Georgia defeated France.

Last summer, Serbia won bronze medals at the Paris Summer Olympics, while France played in the final and took home silver medals. Such different styles of play suggest that we can expect a high-scoring game, as neither team will be comfortable playing defense. Georgia will score points through strength, while Finland will do so through speed.

A good defender was sorely lacking in the group stage, but his 24 points in the round of 16 show that he is a player who can be relied upon.
